Tailwhips, heelwhips, 180s, 360, fakies, feebles, and anything else he can think of doing because riding is really about self expression and creativity.

And no he probobly doesnt need pegs yet. Pegs, beacause they are so small, require alot of precision and control, and if he just started riding, he probobly doesnt have that yet.

First of all, dont get pegs yet because he most likely wont be doing grinds for at least half a year or so, and can lead to dangerous situations.

Tell your son to try to learn tailwhips, 180's, and jumping small gaps such as 3 stairs. once he learns that, he should learn a little bit harder tricks such as 360's, barspins, feebles and board slides.

also tell him to not get in other people's way at the skate park!

bar spins are easier than tailwhips

I learned whips first. Whatever you learn first is the trick you're best at imo I'm pretty bad at barspins. Pick either a tailwhip, barspin, or 360. I wish I started with 360's so I could have my 540's and 720's

ooooh you need some ice cream for that burn
Sure, I live in Gilbert, AZ, I prefer dryers ice cream and my favorite flavor is cookies 'n' cream. Make it choppy, I'm hungry. And dont be cheap about it and make sure you get an actual gallon of it. I don't want any of those little pussy cups that are like a dollar a piece.

Ahhh beginner is something I know about because I am a slow learner when it comes to scooter tricks. When I started riding (last April), I had a hard time deciding what I could practice that doesn't require too much strength or the ability to withstand a lot of falling. I ended up choosing fakie. Learning fakie was a good choice for me, even though there was some falling involved. The falling was because my driveway has some really big cracks at different points. I learned fakie by rolling back at the top of the driveway. Eventually I could reliably go all the way down the long driveway and around the corner until out of speed. After that, learning some ways to exit fakie, such as half cab, was relatively easy. Next I decided to learn to enter fakie with 180 rather than rolling back. This has been pretty difficult for me, but finally I am getting the hang of it. I think now I should consider trying to learn 360. Maybe manuals is good too, because I may still lack the leg strength needed for 360s.

Try to keep him away from skateparks, at that age they're not really aware of their surroundings and they can get in the way, if he has ridden for like a year or so in the driveway, he'll be more experienced and he would have the scooter more under control, for a kid at that age try not starting off with tricks but with controlling his scooter good and when he has good control overhis scooter, the tricks will come naturally
