there is no compression that is more "dialed" than other compressions its how you put it together /take care of it

how would you know the difference if you have never had hic its more than just look hic is lighter and the bars go over the compression and have a slit scs is the clamp goes on the fork and the bars slide on top and it is usually heavier

SCS hands down. No cons that I can think of. Unless you call regular maintenance a con, which you shouldn't anyways.

i have ridden hic for a year and only had to tighten it once. never had a problem with it & its so simple

My hic is starting to come loose constantly, i replaced the headset cap and screw also. I've ridden a few SCS systems and i loved them. Although if you hate the look of the bulky brass knuckle design I would say hic.
