Whats up with....

That Idea you guys had in the original promo video for the SCS. When you would start making a notch in the SCS that would correspond with a piece that stuck out of your bars to line them up properly every time. I am so tired of worrying if my bars are straight or not. I think you should resurrect it.

Two cents for you. Yes it was worth a thread.

kyle.

I got myself banned.
im guessing because it would be kinda hard to weld a notch on to handlebars and have the notch fit perfectly

Probably because it wouldnt make sense too: It would mean you could only use Proto bars and SCS. Not everyone wants to do that.

Wasn't the idea originally supposed to include a piece on the fork that slid into a notch on the SCS that kept the SCS and fork straight?

Amongst the problems already stated in this thread, the notch on the fork would be a horrible idea because...well...it wouldn't work lol. Your headset bearings wouldn't fit onto your fork.

Also, peep the prototype Proto complete ;)

It would have been overly complicated for what it did, especially because once you run your bars straight in an SCS for a bit they start going in straight by themselves.

ya bikes do that type of design wi the notch i think its premium bikes ive seen pics they are like a hundred splined..legit tho

Oh, I guess thats true. My bars are just being a pain in the ass and It made me think of that video. Then I just wondered what had ever happened to it. I feel as though if you guys made an SCS that was compatible with it, other manufactures would follow suite with their bar designs. You've pioneered alot in this sport already.
