Wheel/bearing problem

I have a vertx metal core and some bearings but there seems to be a sort of lip in one of the bearing slots so when I install my bearings the one of them is slightly diagonal. is there anyway to get rid of that lip so I can have my bearings inserted properly as it wont spin well as all otheriwse?

no why do that when there is almost certainly a solution. im not gonna have a wonky bearing which would be vey undialled and slow not to metion how bad for the bearing it would be.

If its just a thin piece you could probably just sand it but filing does basically the same thing. I would file it or you could even take a really sharp chisel to it, but only if its really sharp. I'm talking cut a baby in half sharp, otherwise you'll mess your shit up.
