Wheels/axle problems

I have 2 scooters Both have proto striker forks and 1 has proto sliders... the other has eagles...On both I used the stock front axle that came with razors...And it seems the work themselves loose after an hour of riding..I was wondering what other people do...I thought of going to the hardware store and doing up some HD hexbolts with lock washers at this point...PLease reply

Just use loctite or teflon tape.

always have an allen wrench handy just would like something more solid and lasting...Might have to p/ u some new loctite

Yeah carry an allen key with ya. I do that all the time, and get some loctite. If that doesn't work or you don't wanna, get a high strength 5/16 (I think) bolt and either cut it down or get one with enough thread. First option is the best, having heaps of bolt sticking out sucks bad. Then get a locknut, the ones with the nylon ring, and if you're still worried put that on with loctite aswell. Can't get wrong...

well my wheels axles always come loose if i ride on bumpy or rough terrain so i just carry a tool
