When should you upgrade?

If you've seen my other thread, well, I didn't get a scoot yet. I've been practicing on my (supposedly lost, but now found) crappy crap crap heavy-as-fuck-taking-shits-on-my-ankle-when-I-do-tailwhips stock Fusion Elite and I was wondering when I should upgrade?

Like, what tricks should I have down before upgrading to like, say, a District.

I don't want to blow all my money on a new scooter when I can't even do barspins 100% of the time. Also, tailwhips are out of the question in this moment of time because the Fuzion is so heavy :((((( and I don't want to buy a RUP just so I can learn. $100 down the drain. ugh

Stock Fuzion Elites are light as hell...

When I first started riding, I thought my Ultra Pro was heavy (lol) because I was coming off of an old A model. It feels heavy at first, but you will get used to it just like anything else. When I got my first aftermarket setup (TSI Flowmaster fyi) I could barely tailwhip it flat, even though I could double whip my Ultra Pro flat consistently. Now, I can't double whip an Ultra Pro because I'm so used to my heavy setups. Just give yourself some time, you'll adjust.
