Which griptape? And is it worth buying pro model

Nah dude, you don't need a pro or to spend $5 on a sheet of grip. New A + Fine Grit Sandpaper is solid enough. Be sure you use epoxy glue putting on the sandpaper also.

new as, locked, are fine for kids just starting out. its good for learning mods, figuring stuff out. when they break it then they can get a pro, and they'll know what they're doing.

changing the foldy isn't possible anymore though, unless they use an old new a. the sidewalls are too close together. i had a question though, would this make it stronger at all? or would the foldy just rip up like usual?

it would still rip up if you dont put the plate in. if you just keep the plate in that comes on b/pro mechs then it shouldnt rip up.
