Ya if you don't like death-core, metal-core, shit I don't care what people call it, I guess you can say screamo, then you probably will absolutely hate them! :D

They're death-metal/core.

Shows with family...ehh not my thing haha but im 18 so if your younger i get it. i saw them with a few other bands at this reallllly small venue when i was 16 and it was great. best ass kicking of the year for sure.

i saw them at warped last year they were teh bawssez. seriously it was really awesome like the whole crowd was moshing (that is very uncommon where i live)

I have no idea what the genre thing is with the screamo bands. I say metalcore and people freak out and then I say deathcore they freak out again. Genres are too complicated now a days.

Whitechapel ARE deathcore. But to correct you, metalcore is only heavy music (often using lower tuned guitars, breakdowns, screaming vocals, etc.) that still includes verses of vocals by a vocalist who does not scream/yell. They are essentially the progressive rock of the metal scene.
