Why are Scooters Gay?

So im sure we've all been riding somewhere & been called gay, ------ etc. for riding a scooter. I sort of wonder why?

is it because of madd & how they drag in all the little kids who snake the shit out of skaters, or is it because of people like kota who just do flips & 6 tailwhips but have no style.

Why do you reckon we get hated on so much?

It happens with everything. When skateboards got big, they got made fun of just as much. When people started riding "freestyle" bmx, it was weird to everyone. So thats definitely a factor, but the main reason is because scooters started as a kids toy. Now you people doing tricks on what society considers a kids toy.
Embrace it. When someone calls you gay, tell them you blow dudes. I guarantee they either wont have anything to say or itll turn into a big joke.
