on like 7ft+ quarters and vert i try to air and almost always not land on the transition. on like 4-5ft quarters i can ride really good, but idk what im doin wrong on the bigger quarters...helpppp.

Befour I started vert I rode either street, a bit park or my local miniramp...and nothing can be compared to vert...
First time I aired it out, it threw me totally to the flat, since I was riding vert like it was a miniramp...
Since a mini finnishes like / and not like a vert | you don't "jump" to air a vert out like a mini...
I for myself, when going up, pump out the curved part of the vert and then go with the flow and let the last meter (3-4 feet) of the vert (the actuall vertical part... | ) launch me out and I drop back in perfectley when I come down... if you pump again nice, you'll gain speed pretty nice... just don't get scared of the height, stick to it and you'll land in perfect every time no matter how high you air...

I don't ride vert because vert ramps are few and far between. Have to drive down to Clairemont which is like two hours away to ride a vert ramp. So it's not even worth it to me. I have more fun riding mini ramps anyways. A good 5-6 footer is a lot more fun and more trick options.
