Why i hate scooter wheels

For the last 2 years I've been riding stock pro wheels and I break a pair every week. I finally decided to invest in a pair of eagles about a week ago, so I bought a pair for 40 bucks off a kid at my skate park. hardly ridden. i loved them for about a week until my back wheel chunked out while doing a flat 180. i thought metal cores were overpriced for a reason, and I thought they were going to last a lot longer.endrant

that's because they were old. If you want wheels that are just as fast as eagles, but wear more smoothly without chunking, then go with proride wheels if you like soft, or twizzlers if you like hard. I always thought the protos were too slow.

Super queer.
proride and twizlers are exactly the same im pretty sure. yea man you must have done something wrong. i went thru wheels like crazy ull get over that soon haha. just be careful.

I think with scootering growing..... better made wheels will come in time...But for the makers of wheels you cant make the urthane to hard or you slide out...vs to soft and they will break and be slow...Its a trade off for what material they use for now...and you have to consider the bonding process also......

ok every one hearts twizilers so i was in cali and i bought one from scooter zone and it sucked so bad at least a quarter of an inch of the rupper was gone in a day it got so flat so fast and it got hard core flat spot the second day and it was the slickest wheel ive ever rode i must have got a retarded one or something cause my last pair of eagles i landed way harder and sketchyer on and dint get flat spot and they lasted like 2 months

im gonna try eagles again because other than them chunking out in the back they were amazing. i just gotta land cleaner. my front wheel is in perfect shape too

stop complaining, make the wheels last. i ride street only and when im riding to a spot far a away ill take the back wheel out and replace it with some cheap ass plastic core. If you want your wheels to last, make it happen
