I posted up a clip of it, didn't really know what it was, and people started calling it a briflip. I think Steven T might have been the one that came up with the name, it was too long ago to remember though.

Haha, briflips aren't really old as a trick anyway. The first clip in that post was released in June 2005, it's just the widespread popularity of the trick, caused by it's easy execution and 'cool' looks, that makes it seem an old trick.

damn, i joined in june 05 and i don't remember that clip or like the controversy or anything. i thought briflips were a lot older trick. weirdd
