In scotland you wouldn't belive the amount of slag i get. Everyone thinks there for 5 years old, i like to point out that 5 year olds ride bikes, and rollerblade in their backgarden, whats different about scooters?

Skateboarders will usually make fun of other skaters who do vert, and therefore will make fun of people who ride scooters and do vert. If street was more involved within scootering, i think skateboarders would make less fun of us because a wide majority of skateboarders participate in a street style of skating, and such a little amount of scooter-ers ride street. I believe that if street scootering became nearly as popular as street skating, skaters would not make fun of us as much because they could relate to us in a more directly cuz we would be riding the same stuff as them


Any thoughts?

alright, me and my friends that scooter have realized that..all the good skaters and our school (like the ones that can actually do stuff) are hella chill with scootering and think its suuuuuper tight. and they like always ride our scooters and stuff. and then, all the hicks and poser skaters, or kids who think they can skate give us hella shit. and theyre all like oh your ridding scooters cause you cant skate and shit. pisses me off.

also, most awkward thing, omg. i was hanging out with my girlfriend today, we were sitting in starbucks and her sister was coming home from college and had never met me, so she came to starbucks and shes like "so do you skateboard" and i just said no. and shes like "oh". and my girlfriends goes "oh he scooters!" and then her sister just starts laughing. worst thing ever, haha sooo embarrassing.
