I have a feeling he may have gave me his product ID instead of his friend code, haha. You have to go into friend roster on Nintendo WFC menu to get your friend code.

Haha oh shit. My bad. Well I'm not home right now so when I get home I'll post my GH friend code.

Edit: I only have GH III haha so nevermind.
