Will this socket work for pegs?

Yeah I know there are a million threads about pegs, but would this specific socket fit right for a peg? I don't know much about socket wrenches, but I'm guessing the "drive" is where they would normally plug into the wrench? I could put sandpaper on a drill bit and file it if it's too small, right?

I will cut it down a little if it's too long. I'm going to get a 5/16" bolt as well for an axle, don't know how long yet, have to measure.

Yeah, most sockets have the 5/16 hole. The only thing is that you should get some spacers for the bolt that fit snug inside the socket, if you don't the bolt will bend really bad or the socket will wobble around and it won't feel right.

I actually have a bunch of extra spacers. Should I get a bolt the length of the socket and fill it with spacers, but every few spacers have a washer that fits in tightly? That sounds good to me

depends hoe big it is but u might need to shave it in for the back anther good idea i seen is some1 from jersey got wethepeople pegs and cut it down then shaved it to fit in the back tiwas reallly good

As for which side, just go hop into a feeble the way you are most comfortable with and whichever side the ledge is on you put the pegs on.

USE A 7/16" SOCKET. It works wonders. That size is the size that you use to tighten a 5/16" bolt, so all you have to do is turn the socket and the whole thing will tighten.
