razor ultra pro. if yo see in the picture there is a black dot drawn on my strip reinforcement. the metal is bent a little away from the deck. if i drilled all the way through that black dot to the other side and put a brake bolt in would it weaken the deck?

your never gonna brake it at the dropouts
its like 3 times thicker than a bmodle and they are more rienforced back there than a b modle ur fine

do what i did with those strips!

drill a hole through the beadtube and bend it around the front
pin it on the front and bolt it on the other side
it does help the headtube alot
mine lasted 3 months befor the deck broke but it wasnt at the headtube

Reinforcements change the way the deck handles stress, the force from landing will shoot through the deck and hit the headtube on the welds really hard, pretty much anyone that has a Pro deck and a DSA Decksaver or anything like that has broken the foldy welds, the ultra pro has pretty thick dropouts and a weak headtube so really it's almost completely unnecessary to have reinforcements on the Ultra pro deck.
