its music. dont be so concerned about whats behind the music. everyone is entitled to their opinions...especially with music. its all about whether you like how it sounds or not. i love indie rock, alternative rock, and rap. wiz khalifa and mac miller are some of my favorites right now because they put out free mixtapes that you can listen to from first track to last track and enjoy all of it. lupe's new lasers asbum is sick too.
rap can be as fake or as real as you want. if your into an artist, you tend to learn more about them. you will find a lot of rappers talking about shit they havent done. but lets face it, its not THAT important. music is music, you listen to what you like and thats pretty much it. if you dont listen to certain stuff for any reason other than you just dont like how it sounds, then your doing it all wrong.
