Hello people's i have a halfpipe made out of wood
And i have just replaced it like 4 times with all diffrent type of ply's and i have spent like $2,000 on it and i pissed of i have used merine ply and all that stuff and it still does't work it not the under neff it the wood just chips and i have treated it pained it still does't work
So now im think of buying a thin sheet of metal and laying it over the top i think it will work great and give it some paint so its less slippery but im not sure

IM NOT USING WOOD ANY MORE IT I SELL IT OR METAL IT WHAT DO YOU THINK?

maybe you should make a concrete slab, then layer some concrete under marine ply.... thats what my friend did...

Trust me, you can find some sort of ramp material in Australia. If you can't find Skatelite, then you should be able to go to some hardware store and get some sheets of masonite. It's what most skateparks use, because it is so much cheaper, and it's well worth the investment. Just don't get metal to lay down.

Masonite, you can get it at like mitre 10. And if that fucks up, some real thin metal sheets.
