WELP. i signed up last year before i quit inlining, and i went last week..
so, i decided to ask maverick (a "big wig" at woodward camp, pa.) about why they don't let scooters into woodward camp, LO AND BEHOLD, the same ol' crap.
Insurance reasons (YEAH, not like the bikers aren't destroying ramps/going big, right mav?)
They aren't aggressive enough (Yeah, double backflip no hander is an everyday trick in the other sports, right mav?)
Not enough cabins (YEP, i was there along with 18 inliners, OUT OF 875 KIDS, 18 were inlining)
It would make bikers and skateboarders unhappy, and we'd have to stock parts (Well, we could bring our own spare parts and stuff (murphy would be screwed unless he brought a truckload of scooters lawl.) it's not like razors cost that much, and who cares? skateboarders don't like inlines, and they still go.)
tl;dr
we talked.
he said scootering is weak and people don't like us.
insurance bull crap.
Bawwwwwwwwwww.
EDIT: i forgot to add, the owner of woodward doesn't like scooters. or so maverick said.
