Would it be okay to use a thick steel pipe to reinforce my fork?

NONONONONONONONO DON'T EVER TRY TO HAMMER THE PIPE IN IF IT'S TOO WIDE!!!!!!!!! I did that once and I had to throw out the forks because they got all ovalized and spread out and couldn't fit inside my bars anymore..

my friend pounded in a wooden dowel and it worked fine. but i dont know about a pipe.

I used a thick pipe that only just fitted, and ovalised it ao i didnt need tape or anything to get it to fit perfect.

i used a madd handel (stock) and 4 a pro use a bit cut down off a t tube
