no. It's patented as a folding skateboard, so if a skatepark gives you the bullshit about scooters not being covered in the insurance, etc. just say that it's patented as a folding skateboard, so yeah.

sweeeeet. there is an indoor park a couple hours from me that just opened and they said no scooters so i can be like bitch this aint no scooter its a colapsable skateboard

well you can't just assume they'll automatically let you in. The safest bet is to ask a place that lets bikes in as well as skateboards, because scooters tend to ride similar stuff to bikes.
