sooo i had 3 GBs of space left on my comp, and i started going through random stuff to try and clear everything out. i went and deleted a bunch of stuff that final cut had saved up from like 4 videos i'd made in the past. i ended up freeing up about 50GB of space.
if you have final cut pro, after you finish a project, go into the files and delete all the sh!t saved up from that project. you'll save so much space.
