Wrong parts

I picked up my VertX today and went to assemble it but the clamp was a Standard, and the bars were Oversize. Is this a common occurance, or am I just the odd one?

did you order an over sized clamp? maybe you didnt order that right clamp?

I can't see where I had an option, but, why would they ship a standard clamp with oversize bars? the order was for a complete scooter.

you never know? you might order all your parts and might have a clamp and the standard one is for a friend or something just email them and tell them what happened and they will probly send you a new one or somthing

They send what you order. It's not their business what you want or why, if you ordered a standard clamp they will send one. Check your order and if you ordered an HIC one instead email them. Even if you didn't, email them. I'm sure they'll fix it.

I ordered a VertX Primo Pro complete with HIC.
The scooter is great, the service was OK, they have not replied to an email I sent.
I am blessed with having a machine shop in my garage, so I remachined the clamp to 1 3/8" ID. My 11 y.o. grandson wasn't about to wait for any reshipping, re-ordering !!
