XBOX 360 or PS3

Also, whenever I go over a buddies to play xbox online, there is alway a million friggin kids that haven't hit puberty yet playing and they all have headsets. I can't stand that. PS3 doesn't come with a headset so people are less likely to use it, and when people do have them it always seems like an older crowd. You do run into younger kids but not as often as on live.

very very true

Also before anyone says LOL XBOX GETS RROD. PS3 gets YLOD, although the percentage for YLOD is WAY lower and only happens to the fat PS3s whichs have been discontinued for about a year now I think. Also I doubt RROD happens to the slim xboxs, but I don't even know anyone that has one of them.

i have had my fat ps3 for about 2 1/2 years and there hasnt been any problems.
I got a YLOD. I blame it on my pops though. He had it in the entertainment center, watched like 2 blurays and shut it off right when he was done. The whole time the fan was running at full speed (you know when its running at full speed, you can hear it) and I think all the heat just sat in there and fucked up the GPU resulting in YLOD.

edit: it was $150 to "fix" at Sony, but I know they just sent me a refurb. I ended up getting an extra hard drive out of it. I took it out before I sent it in and they sent me one back with an HDD in it.

PS3 to the max extreme. Biggest reason is free online. Fuck payin for that. I'd rather keep that money and buy scooter parts.

the problem was it was inclosed. mine just sits out on my dresser with nothing around it..which is probably why nothing has happened to it haha

Yeah I know. Not to mention I got this big ass receiver thats 2 shelves underneath of it pumping out heat and the PS3 sucks it right in. Now if the PS3 is on the rack we pull it out when using it so theres more ventilation, but for now the PS3 is in my freezing cold basement on SDTV so I don't really have to worry about it. We are gonna set up a cooling rig in the rack but I really don't like playing games in HD so I dont know if I'm gonna even bother doing it.

Bout to hack my boys old PS3 today with the custom firmware. Bluray laser is shitty on it, only reads games when it feels like it. I might bust it open and clean the laser since the thing is in his basement where EVERYONE smokes. I have a feeling the lens just might be dirty but I have heard about the lasers dying on the older fat models.

There are so many people who argue this out for ever, without even having played on both consoles. I have played on both, and both have their pros and cons.

PS3:

- Free Playstation Network.
- Small simple controller.
- Blu-Ray DVD Drive.

- Expensive Console (Compared to Xbox)
- Occasionally expensive games.
- Bad exclusive games. (Killzone 1,2,3 were poor.)

XBox:

- Better exclusive games (Halo Reach <3)
- Cheap console. (However some would beg to differ with the latest version.)
- CheapER games.

- Not too reliable.
- $70 yearly to play online.
- Chunky ass controller.

In MY personal opinion the PS3 is better, but that's just down to my experiences. In the long run, the fact that you don't pay for online will save you money.

But anyway, everyone knows that PC gaming is superior.

I agree to some extent there, COD 1-4 were good, 5-6 sucked, and 7 is getting back to what it should be. Still not as good as ye old classics (CSS, TF2, HL2 ETC.)
