Xtreme Wheels Competition #2 - July 14th, 2007

Don't get too excited yet, well maybe you can if you want. But it is official. Saturday July 14, 2007 there will be a scooter competition held at Xtreme Wheels Indoor Skatepark in Buffalo, NY. You have like a year (literally) to get money and stuff to go and plane tickets and whatnot are alot cheaper early. Again, my house and schads house will be open for visiters and whatnot if you have not a place to stay.


So everyone try to make it out to this competition and I hope to meet a lot of you there!


Someone killed the other thread and i asked Brian and he said make a new one... discuss the comp here if you'd like <3

I'm bumping this up because:

The other day i went to Xtreme Wheels. Virginia (the park owner) seemed really sincerely happy to see me there. She even gave me half off on admission. She said that once the season starts slowing down here she can focus on the scooter comp and making it bigger and better than before. She is telling me to keep spreading the word about July 14, 2007 (and she did remember the date of it right off hand), and that it would be great to meet everyone and whatnot. I even mentioned that I've been talking to some Australians about coming down. Nothing really too concrete with that at all but she was just like "If we had Australians here that would tickle me to fuckin death"... It was amazingly funny haha. Well just wanted to give sort of an update for this comp. It is for sure, definate. July 14, 2007. We will be working out the details and I'll be keeping you guys informed with whats going on.


I hope you guys get a chance to make it out for the comp. Having it in the summer is best just because there is no school and many people find it easier to travel then, especially knowing this far in advance. Start letting your parents know now if you'd like to come, that way (if they are anything like my parents... NOT rich) they can start setting money aside or even just to make them aware of the comp in general is always good. Let them know of your very definate interest in going and how much of an extent you would appreciate it from them being able to attend. Stuff like that usually gets through to parents.

You know im down for another year. This time, im gonna ride, and not waddle around complaining that I can't do spines, cause now I can hahaha. Yeah so hope to see everyone that came last time there, such an amazing time.

Yeah, im riding differently this year, I did NOTHING in practise, I just talked my ass off and shit myself watching Dan and Steve. For like an hour it was only me, DK, dan and stave. Then people started coming. Im actully gonna plan a run too, haha, I was a mess last year

If anyone has any questions on anything let me know in this thread. We've got a lot of time so if you think you might come or anything like that feel free to post it up. The last thread for the comp had so many pages it was ridiculous. Hopefully as people let us know that they will 100% sure be there we can start work on judging and whatnot, but we have way more than enough time to get this comp planned properly. (Which Virginia did an AMAZING job last year doing)

I got myself banned.
The one thing that needs to change from last year is how the intermediate riders went than the pro riders went, that was a hassle for the judges kinda... i think i should be intermediates 3 runs than pros 3 runs.
