Now i'm not one to bitch about yanks, im pretty much half American anyway, but it really pisses me off to see you bitching and moaning about each others parks and what tricks you do. You DO NOT even want to know what i would do to have 15 minutes inside T.I.C or Skatebarn West or any of the simply amazing parks you have at your disposal, and i think you take it for granted. I have never even had the pleasure of riding a wooden skatepark and here you are bitching and moaning about people who only ride at T.I.C. WHO THE FUCK WOULDN'T?

yea id kill for tic or any of the other crazy parks around here (im still at dibbs's) it just pisses me off when kids ONLY ride park, and tahts about all they can do.. example: at chenga this one kid was killing it, hes like 10 and was airing this hitching post...like literally one of the biggest things ive ever seen, but he flipped out when we did flat double whips and stuff and caught our tailwhips. its just stupid when kids dont learn the basics or dont ride any street or anything

Don't you guys have a lot of cement parks in Australia? Because wood parks aren't all that great, I'd much rather ride cement.

agreed. I learned to scooter in the street. it wasnt for a long time that I found out I had a shitty local I could go to. I couldnt really picture myself starting any sport (should it be bmx, skateboard, rollerblade or whatever) straight at the park. It just doesnt make sense to go to the park with no basic to start building on. when you learn in a skatepark, you get skatepark basics, not the real basics of urban terrains which are where we are the most. thats why I have trouble doing huge stuff in parks, like airing massive quarters, 360 box jumps and such, but I would def try to trick a big set of gap and my friend (who rides mostly park but some street) would never try to 360 a 7 set, but landed a flip 3rd try on this 5ft box jump.

thats why people get mad when they see kids riding only park. It doesnt make much sense to learn backflips when you can even dubwhip flat...

haha its funny your all my locals shit come to england i dont have a local and the street wer i live is terible, none and if a place was goin to get a park made here it wud be shit cus they wud hav a kicker and a qp so the council wud get all the skaters off ther bak so really i wud die forwat u got it mite be a shit local but least u got one and the weather

Wood sucks and concrete is the best. If metal is done right it can be fun too but I don't complain about parks. I just ride them.

Dude chill out.

It's not like you think, we really don't have it like you think we do.. besides.. Cement own wood. Cementg is soo much smoother and much more consistant. So stfu suck it up and just ride.

It's not what you ride that makes the difference.. It's how you ride it.

tic isnt that special i live in NJ and i go there once a year maybe...... the ramps are crap its a bmx park and i bet if you went there you wouldnt even enjoy it you have to adapt to that park and the crap copings and bupmy ramps. dont think were so lucky because id give up tic anyday for a nice cement park

i couldnt care less what its made of, i just want an indoor park, cuz we dont have any within like half a days drive and we have the worst weather ever

actualy wooden parks arent that great i prefer concrete over wood any day i think concrete parks feel more complete, full, and one peice oh well who cares thats just my 2 cents
