Yeah, but we had some sketchy homemade weird resi first and tried them got the rotation pretty decent then threw them to wood.
You just gotta pull off and lean and you're fine, here's my first landed one.

Edit - If you get the full rotation and don't land, try your best to land on your feet it doesn't hurt as much as landing on your ass haha
