That Prototype was almost a full year old when Kody broke it. I knew it would break there and that is why we changed the design to eliminate the stress riser in the middle portion of the clamp.
This is why we use our riders to test products before they go to market. Alex, Cooper, Heston, Brian and Kody all rode this clamp.

I had an SCS for 5 months, not a single hole stripped. I tightened all my bolts evenly and in the right order along with using grease and regular maintenance checks every time I took my scoot apart.
