Do you even understand how stupid you sound right now? PROTO's team goes fucking hard. Especially in street. Most nitros i have seen were purchased by kids who are really bad. And the reason you say you haven't seen a broken nitro before could be because you're from Australia! There is like less than 1% of a street riding scene down there. Its all park. Riding transition doesn't really put stress on a deck at all.
Edit: I also think that the broken proto deck posted wasn't just ridden. It had to be defected or mistreated. I cannot imagine that deck breaking with all three bolts in it, while just being ridden in "miniramp and park." I smell bullshit.

yes i live in Australia, i ride with o'connor a lot and r-willy and they haven't broken a nitro deck and there are alot of street riders but there not very well known its hard to ride street in oz coz there is cops everyone and you get asked to leave, and they make all the good street spots unriderble so yea....

A: Not tightening the three bolts is like putting some axles in an old pro mod, keeping them loose and saying "LOL FUCK IT". I seriously doubt this guy had it set up correctly, which does matter. How can anyone say "setting up something is stupid" Do you ride loose headsets? Loose bolts? Are you inept at anything? I think so. Like above stated, if Brian Murphy rode it, and it didn't break (AND IF ANDREW JUMPED THE MEGA-FUCKING-RAMP) with it, it should not have broken that soon/many places unless it was improperly set up.
B: Comparing this deck which is back light and honestly comfortable, to a madd nitro which is ugly, heavy, and honestly just feels horrible, isn't even a good comparison. I'd buy this deck over a nitro any day even if i hate flex fenders/high angles. I've ridden both decks. Elmer's deck with wide ass bars, 83 hta, and 5 wide felt AWESOME compared to my madd ninja, which was heavy and shitty all together.

im in this with rob as we all know your OG hahah im pretty sure that if it was jumped on the mega ramp and it didnt break he obviously didnt tighten the bolts all the way so yes rob good point

I wouldnt think the megaramp would break it, it is tranny. I still dont think three bolts would make a difference. But if I say what i think rob will get sassy and ban me.

did you forget that Ryan Williams jumped the same mega ramp with he's purple nitro and it did not break... and Rob your a yanky of cause your going to like something thats made in the USA same as me going to like something thats made in Oz, i actually did like the proto deck but after seeing this, i dont and i'm going to stick with madd gear just sayin

mgp is extremely strong, but uncomfortable looking, its rails are like an inch thick, id imagine it feeling like a rock to ride...

oh and i forgot they put there van on a stock nitro and there was nothing wrong with it, over 2000KG, thats something like 7000LB or something idk

oh and rob i switched off my flowmaster 2 and im riding a rup everything is so easy on it and it feels pretty good

yeah, but divide the weight in like 4, because not ALL of the weight from the van was on it. just one corner, but its still VERY impressive
and to everyone saying, ohh ya but the nitro didnt break on the mega ramp, nothing would probably break on the mega ramp if you didnt case (and i dont think you can overshoot, but that would SUCK ASS if you did) because its designed so that it doesnt hurt to land. ive never ridden it, so i wouldnt completely know, but it might hurt a bit, but not much.

ryan williams, landing straight on his ass, kinda overshooting it. and gets up. probably hurt, but it would NOT hurt him too bad, or break a deck (if landed).
