Actually, tyre is how british people spell it. They also spell curb like kerb. Silly british people.
No we don't, we say tire. I think you will also find we say curb, kerb does not exist in the english dictionary. Also, you americans and aussies and everyone, speak ENGLISH. Not american, not australian, ENGLISH. So don't hate on how we speak ;)

There is an English and American dictionary. I was counted off a college English paper for spelling acknowledgement (English) instead of acknowledgment (American).

I never got the point of internal threading, it pretty much defeats the purpose and hassle of threadless, because you still lose wall thickness.

not if you keep the same wall thickness that you would have, and then add the thickness of the thread onto the inside for the section that will have the thread. external threading has to be at the same level as the rest of the forktube, so that the headset can be built up over it.

internal threading has is less distance from the natural axis of the entire fork than external. larger distance = larger lever = less force required to yield at the thread

plus finally the system has been used to great effect in bikes for years, and i would prefer the force of my compression to be spread across a large thread (internal threading) rather than a tiny one (starnut & compression bolt)

ps kieran the british spelling is Tyre http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/tyre and Kerb http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/kerb

come at me tomk

Same thing as I posted on facebook.

" I had a V1 Tilt fork from May 2011 until February 2012, it didn't even break, I just got one of the new ones. Some kid is still riding my old fork, so yes, this is definitely from your flyout."

It is you aussies and your fucking flyout whore ----- not the fork.
