It was an old fork anyways - almost 2 years old. Served me well. Gonna get a Proto Senior from a friend.

It seems like those welds just kinda wore out and broke after two or three years, because tyler billman broke his three year old ones there too with a weld failure.

Send it back to Proto, it has a lifetime warranty on welds.
