"Parts are made to snap". lol. If that's not the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard then I don't know what is.
Parts will always snap, you're right in that regard, but they are not designed to snap. No company or designer or engineer or anything ever would risk his and his/her companies reputation by intentionally designing a part to break.
And if you think it's because 'it will snap and then people will have to buy more so they will sell more parts', how many times have you ever broken a part and then gone back and bought the exact same fucking thing again? Never? Thought so.
