It takes a couple steps:

Sanding off the Anodizing using different Grit until you get a shine on the Metal then move over to a Buffer to get Final mirror finish using a Polishing Compound.

I have a pretty decent bench mounted belt sander that allows me to change the sanding belts quickly so I can do this whole process in about 15-20 mins.

The Buffer/Polisher I use is just a regular Bench grinder with a Buffing wheel mounted on it instead of a Grinding wheel.
