Ill start sence i have only been riding about 3 days i havent landed one yet only one footed .

i did my first heel after like 2 weeks learned tailwhips at 3 weeks doubles after a month shit i was hardcore as fuck

not too long ago, but it took a little bit to learn how to use my wrists.

i think most people learned on flat.

well i'm not sure how long it took me to tailwhip lol, i'd had a scooter for half my life but i only did like x-ups and no footers, couldn't whip, and i think like a month or month and a half after i found SR and started posting i finally landed one. I remember i would just barely put my foot down on the ground and land one footed, then i decided to jump as high as i could and i got it. i was like holy cow.

i learned flat.

but you might be able to learn it jumping off crap,
it is kinda preference.

I was riding an indoor park in February 2005 and then i decided to learn real tailwhips instead of just doing footplant tailwhips. My first tailwhip was done onto funbox and practiced them till i landed them super straight and super smooth.
