Your opinion: Buffalo comp fairness

I got myself banned.
First dont say the competition isn't about winning, i want 1st place and shit like that, i want a fair competition. Im just gonna get down to the point. Do you think its fair to the 1st place winner of the am division at TIC, Steve Wilson, that was riding a step or 2 above all the other riders in the competition, is going to ride in intermediate(basicly the not pro division). Also, people that did compete in pro are going to drop down to intermediate because they didn't place in the top 3, so they don't think they have a chance again. I think its unfair to people that are auctually comming to compete and other riders are going to think others are greedy. Thats the only thing im going to say, im not bringing up any points. Im not trying to be an asshole to anyone... lemme hear some opinons

ok everybody that says that i should not enter amatuer are obviously against me for winning because they wanna win for themselves but its cool
i m not greedy, i just want everything to be fair

but dont u want to chalange urself i mean thats like doing a sport at jv and wining and then when u are good enough to go varsity u stay at jv to win

its not about the chance of winning, that about quarter of the reason your goin. Your still coming wit me and seeing whos all tehre and even if he does enter is because the way he puts him self down and thinks he doesnt have a chance, just come ur goin to have the funnest time and ur goin to leave the place trophy or not and be happy as hell that u rode wit razor again, jadike and who ever else. Please dont give steve shit or anything who cares if he is in it fro the shit he wins, its not like winnin a car and i bet he's not goin to entter am for that reason to win, just please be cool wit him and dont give me any shit for entering am becasue he has no chance in pro, he says, but liek i said who cares if he enters am and wins nuttin big to win prob just money or something. Also if it gets so far that steve cant even enter am because of alex then steve please enter pro and also if that happens it will be fucked up. I want to add that chris made me and allen enter pro because of some reasons and look how we did, not startin anything like bri said but bringin up some stuff about a comp. Well this could of happed to anyone, liek say if brandon won first everyone would want him to enter pro, could of happen to anyone who won first, please dont take it personal.

Well theres definately going to be people who enter am who i think should've entered pro, but thats just because im nowhere near the level of difficulty they have reached and that myself as a rider has no chance against them when competing.

I think that there is some people who are definately borderline between intermediate and advanced... but the way those are worded i think that people who think they are borderline should go up to the upper class. The reason for this is just becaues of the wording, "advanced" you dont have to be on team razor, you dont have to be sponsored, your just better than the average rider. Intermediate (to me) is people who are pretty much the average rider can do some stuff not too conistent and just not as good as others. No one take anything i said personally or whatever, if you feel you are borderline and you enter intermediate, i wont care. Those are just my thoughts.

When there only two catagorys it gets hard I guess. Because you got everyone who are in there like 1st or 2nd your of riding then if a person who has been riding 6 years ented and was amazing, then I dont think thats fair at all. I dont know Steve and I dont really know his riding too well so this is not directed at all towards you Steve.

If I was as good a rider as some of you guys I would go for pro anyway, the way I see it, I would rather a challenge and the fact that I would have "no chance" would'nt scare me off. I would be thinking, "Lets see how far I would get".

Again, I dont know the situation so this is not directed to anyone, im just making seanarios.

yes i think as myself as intermediate, i m not consitent, at the tic i got lucky and landed some i my tricks, i m not as good as most people entering and i have only been riding for 1 and a Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?½ years but none of this matters, if everyone will hate me if i enter pro then i guess that is how it will be, i m an average rider and i have any chance of winning as anyone else

now dont think im saying this in any relation at all to the XW comp.. but you dont give yourself enough credit for you're riding. You're good bro. i dont know about consistency and whatever else because i dont ride with you but ive seen clips and that and you are definately good.

OK before anyone else mentions my name im gonna say that i am entering AM..the only thing i can do good in park is flips...... thats it.... of course i can do other tricks.. but half the people who entered AM at the TIC comp were doin tricks i havnt landed before.. so before u go and think im entering Am just to win.. im not.. im entering AM because i think i belong in that devision.

i mean.. i believe the reason chris stuck me in pro was becasue he heard i was gonna "front flip"... wow big deal its 1 trick.. "1 TRICK!!"... dosnt matter i did horrible in that comp i landed 3 tricks out of both of my runs. most of it was because of exhaustion and another i guess u could say "stage fright". basically what im trying to say is that im not in this to win, im just entering Am to see how good i am against the other people entering.. I already know i dont stand a chance against the all mighty KEVIN VANNAUKER..haha... or any other people considered "pro"... so yea thats what i think

Bleh, I think steve rode way better than anyone in the am division at Tic cause he's a local, which means a lot when it comes to sticking together a run in a comp, so it will be balanced well when he enters AM at XW.

steve should definitely do pro since he won and hes really good such as eric ostrom won 1st in am at the tz comp awhile ago and now he rides pro in comps he doesnt win but he doesnt want to keep entering am becaus ehe already conquered that goal

idk theres 2 sides to this 1. steve won 1st place am so he should go that extra stepand try in pro . if he won 2nd place am he should enter am again to get 1st but since he already won whats the point of doing something you know you can do ( ex landing a sweet trick) BUT then again if you land a trick once you wanna try again and get consistent landings to nail the trick , it would be like steve re assureing him self to enter pro ,

alright dylan and alex, steve doesnt have to enter pro, jsut liek i said before it could of happen to anyone and also hes a local and goes tehre maby once a week so thats most of the reason he won am at the comp, steve feel free to say anything in this.... i got a 6 hour ride wit you..... =-)

dan, it will be fun as hell to0, :D i just dont see what the big deal is i wanna enter something that i should be in, if i win am its because i gave it my all and i got lucky or something , jeez i dont kno how everybody would get so pissed when i have the same chances of doing good as everyone else has,
