This is a review for JUST the deck. Maddgear nitro 2010 deck.
I have had mine for almost a year now, and it is just recently showing signs of breaking, which is pretty amazing since I'm a bigger rider, weighing around 200. Even though I'm mostley a tech rider doing alot of grind and manual combos, I have had a good session on a big 8, and I've thrown a few tricks down a 10 and 11 stair, and ride the 7 set at my local park daily. I got this deck about a year ago from a friend who had it for a few weeks but didn't feel like riding, when I got it, I completley sand blasted it and painted it gold, I think sandplasting the anodized paint may have made it a little weaker but it still rides strong! My friend recently got a new welder so I'm getting aluminum wire and gas for it, and we are going to make this deck as strong as, if not stronger than new!

MADD GEAR SCOOTERS FOR LIFE!

you and i are going to get on VERY well...... i <3 maddgear soooo much, i've got a evtreme and i've slammed this thing, grinded, concrete grinded and done plenty of stairs, madds are beast and its time that peoplre relised it

edit: TIG welding is a art, unless you have alot of expierience at it then all your gunna do is wreck the deck, alu has a low melting temp and its so easy to melt holes in it. it also evapourates and burns to a fugly colour, welding is VERY hard, unless you have experience at it then i recomend you practice with some scrap metal forst, ps: post it up when done, i'm so keen to see what it looks like

Inward T-Bars
std-bar-fblk.jpg

Pros: Strong, Pretty light, and a lot of colors
Cons: Gusset is weird looking
Overall great bars!

Crisp Ultima Deck - Green/Blue Cracking

Pros: It looks sick
Cons: It is a shit deck. It is made to look good when it is really useless. This is made to fool people into buying it because of how sick it looks, when it is actualy really crap. It breaks, its heavy and its useless to ride. I would never get it. but I wish district or any other brand could make something that looks like this just better quality.

District DK-1

Pros: These are good and I recommend buying them. There cheap, there light, there really good to ride and they look good

Cons: Just 1 thing that screws it up. The district graphics. If this could be removed it would make it awesome:)

Sacrifice Holy Bars.

Pro's:
Upsweep feels awsome.
Powdercoat is so good.
Perfect width (22 and a bit)
Holes look sick.

Con's:
No backsweep.
Really hard to cut through, broke 3 blades. (Maybe a good thing)
Welds look abit sloppy.

Overall:
I haven't actually ridden these bars yet but I can guarantee that they will feel nice. The are amazing bars and everyone looking for wide bars with a twist should get these.

can someonedo a review on a vertx deck
info (preference)
interchangable headtube (preference but i like it)
quite heavy, with the razor stem, anyway it is lighter with the x-ray headtube. HT 82 normally unless using an old HT on razor stem etc

Pro's: very strong, i dont think ANY have snapped yet so its going for the record being the deck out the longest with no snaps

cons: not boxed sides
vey sharp edges cut my calf (they are changing to boxed sides apparently)

I-beam 4.5

Addict Matt Mckeen Deck

Pros:
Really light
Feels so solid and amazing to ride
The most balanced deck I have ever ridden
Grinds well, although I've only hit copings so far, ledges when I find a good one :)

Cons:
Doesn't whip great, although that may be due to my scooter being very front heavy

Overall:
Really like it, feels and rides perfect.

i will review the parts on my scoot! :)

Epic Quakes
Pros: look cool
Cons: cost too much, ovalise easy, wear down easy, and are slow as helll.

Addict bars
Pros: light, price is okay, strong, ive had them for 5 months now no bends or anything.
Cons: the pieces in the middle are sharp and when you mess up a bar and your hands land there you will get cut.

Mgp 2010 Nitro deck
Pros: really strong, ive had mine for a year and a half and its just starting to crack, cheap
Cons: im not a weight freak but compared to other decks this thing is like 7000 pounds but i dont care tho i like heavy setups. so.... its not really a con LOL

Fsa pig headset
Pros: spins good, cheap.
Cons: breaks easy

Threadless mgp fork
Pros: light, nice looking ive had them for a while.
Cons: Legs bend REALLY easy when you use pegs with them. learned that the hard way lol

Proto Scs
Pros: keeps stuff tight and dialed.... yeah
Cons: way too overpriced, strips easy if you dont grease it every second or tighten the bolts right, and other than that it is really annoying to use.

My Home made brake ;)
Pros: ive had it for 2 years and it still hasnt broken, really cheap and easy to make
Cons: sometimes it still doesnt bend back after being used even though i got it heat treated to hold its form. no biggie tho !!

Odi grips
Pros: last me forever, i love em
cons: none for me :p

Reds bearings
Pros: none
Cons: really they suck donkey balls in a scooter, just use stock bearings kids there better.

French id steel trees:
Light strong and 5 degrees of backsweep. Graphics are nice and inter grated clamp 20 x 20
Bad stuff: When you drop it it will dent the cross bar because of the backsweep. Int. clamp may crack if you tighten it too much. Gets dirty easy( I have the white ones) Gussets hurt your hands sometimes.

Addict TAOS deck
Pros-
Very nice feel to the deck, the headtubes angle is perfect.
Very light, took me a while to get used to it, because I went from a MGP deck to a addict.
Once the paint wears down, it is super slick, love it for grinding.
There is quite a lot of foot room actually.
The brake, people complain about it being plastic, but I've had mine for like 5 months now, the first one, you might go through it fast if noob it up with tire taps or you break a lot, I just slide my foot, that does the trick.
It looks sick, I'm not gonna lie, that is one of the main reasons I bought it, but the design really is good, besides the axle but you'll hear about that in the cons.
Tig weilded and heat treated, no one has really broke those weilds or that I have seen.
Intergrated already, no smashing cups in.
The lengh is so nice, so much more foot room.

Cons-
The axles suck, I had to put a washer in to dial it, and just a while ago I found a crack begining to form in the axle hole, its thin, but I've also had it for like 5 and half months, pretty much six.
Don't buy it if you weigh like 160, it will break on you in like 4 months or lower, its not a strong deck, also don't buy it if you do big drops or sets, itss gonna break.

OverALLL-
I love the deck, its legit for tech and park riding, street if your tech in that too, not hardcore 15 stair drops.
I would reccomend it for beginners or what ever only if you like park or box stuff.
It's 150 dollars, that alright, its a good quality deck in my opinion, I would buy it again, but I don't have the money, but also because I wanna wait for the v2 if it comes out or they make it.
it comes in alot of colors and designs, well, only the sig's do but still, its sick.
For the size of it, I would definetly reccomend it, so big, like lengh and width, way more room for more tricks and then you can also buy the weight system if you want faster whips, I could care less, but opinions, haha, but yeah, if you want a nice tech deck, its the one. 7/10

Vertx linx forks
Price 53$
60$ +- shipped

Pros-
-Removable threaded insert
-Standard and 3'' scs options
-Ics comparable
-1 Piece

Cons-
-Fork race fits a bit tight (Not a big deal)

These forks come in many anodized colors. Imo there one of the best forks for the money and feel much more solid than the lucky versions.

Allen_Key_2mm941.jpg

Pros :

Loosened axles easily
Was a good fit in axle head
Didn't bend even when used in combination with a hammer for leverage
Didn't strip axle head
Portable

Cons :

Metal hurt hands after excessive tightening
May need two to loosen excessively tightened axle
Easily lost

Conclusion :

Overall I recommend this product. I think that it could be improved in a few ways but it's definitely a good purchase for any scooter rider.
