District v.2 Deck
This deck has many good characteristics to it that make it a very unique deck. First the pros of this deck truly make it one of a kind. So let us take a look at the goods and the bads.
Pros:
- The feel of this deck is extrodinary. Your trick capacity literally grows when you get this deck. Everything is so much easie and you will learn more tricks in a jiffy.
- It looks super cool. I mean really it's a handsome deck with all the different paint jobs you can get on it. Really nice graphics too.
- It is super light. What is it... Um. 2.4 pounds or so?
- A nice laid back headtube angle, specifically 81.5. I am a fan of this as it makes whips and such easier.
- The price on an aftermarket deck doesn't get much better then this. If you can't afford this deck then it's time for your parents to get off the couch.
- Much stronger than the v.1. District outdid themselves this time, it can handle quite the weight as long as your nOt Boston, or out jumping el toro everyday.
- Very nice weight distribution. It may weigh as much as an anorexic cat but the weight is still distributed quite well.
- One of the most splendid braking systems on the market. I'm not going to explain it to you mofos, but trust me on this one. It's undialed when u get it, but shove a piece of cardboard in there or some bike tube and you are set with a super dialed and almost fixed fender.
The cons
- Really isn't the STRONGEST deck you can buy but it will hold up for a while don't worry about the strength.
- The graphics come off easy. Not to big of a deal and also a pro for all you Bums who like to take em off.

District V2 deck.
district-decks.1301484998.inline.banner.png

District V2 decks are very different from the first ones, being made in a different factory with different materials, design and welding and heat treatment modifications.
They are much stronger than the first ones, and still nearly just as light. They are ridden by pro riders such as Ryan Upchurch and Brendan Loupus.
All district parts boast to be very light and are, the deck is only 1.2Kgs / 2.65Lbs wich is, im pretty sure, less than a pro mod.
They also come in great colors.

The braking system is great, it's hard to explain without pictures but basically it doesnt flex or have a spring, but rather flexes against a piece of rubber. So there is basically no way of it breaking or snapping.
It comes with a back axle + spacers.

Now, the deck is unbelievably roomy, at 4.33" / 11cm wide, 50 cm / 19.68 Inches long and with 3 degrees concave it's really comfortable aswell.
The headtube angle is 81.5 wich is really comfortable for me and the majority of riders, but everyone is different.

Lastly, along with all of Districts parts, it's very cheap. At only $100 AUD, wich is roughly the same in USD and im not sure about Euros and pounds or any other currency, look up currency converters.

Iv'e been on mine for 3 or 4 months, it's so well balanced and comfortable. Anything 4 inches or less just feels skinny and uncomfortable now. It's like riding a cosey little cottage, it's great.

Lucky Evo 4.0 79* hta

PROS:
pretty good for hang fives
easy to dial brake
strong
for me at least, I have 10 times more confidence in my scooter when I go big on street
comes in may colors
4.5 available

CONS:
top heavy, you'll get over it
no concave
not forgiving for fingerwhips
hta isn't really 79*, more like 81.5
may not fit all pegs

Overall:
If you go big on street, this deck would be good for you. It has a solid feeling when you land. I would advise a light fork to offset the top heaviness. However, if you are a more tech rider, a lighter deck would be more suitable.

Threadless District Forks v2

Pro's
*Look good
*Cheapish ($79 aud)
*comes with ics compression

Con's
*Weak and bend
*The compression f**king sucks. It becomes loose the first ten minutes at the park.

Overall
There okay forks that look good with the district deck but the compression is horrible. Maybe if you ride street there okay but at park its horrible.
5/10

Fuzion Elite Wheels (Final version)

+Look good!
+Grippy
+Pretty fast, on par with Phoenix speed.
+Feel good, I'd say the closest feeling wheels are Grippers.
+Come with good bearings
-/+ bearings are easy to get in, kind of prone to ovalizing (mine havent yet)

No real negatives YET. I'm still waiting to dehub them or something, it hasn't happened so far. They don't have the lush feel of Phoenixes, but rather the feel of Proto Grippers, that soft-but-not-too-soft feeling. Really good for tiretaps/manuals, doesn't slide easily so maybe good for sketchy riders. I've noted no real loss of speed coming from Phoenix wheels. So:

Speed = on par with phoenix
Grip = on par with proto

And costs less than both.
Best wheel to come stock with any scooter.

Nitro Deck.

The Good

Very Strong, never seen a snapped one.
Come in a variety of colours.
Good Weight Distribution.
Great for footjams.
Good for hang fives IMO.
4.5 inches with concave so they feel reaaally nice to ride.

The Bad

Some people say they're heavy.
Bad For Fingerwhips.

Overall
Really nice deck, super strong and has a great feel to it once you get used to it. And good price at AU$130 which is very cheap compared to phoenix etc.

9/10

District Grips

Pros:
comfertable
grippy
dont throttle

Cons:
Took a while to put on but thats probably me
holes were ripped in during teh first 2 weeks
bar ends suck

Overall:4/5
they are realllly soft and comfertable but they didnt last long and i had to use the barends from my bike because the ones that came with them ripped

footjams

dude the deck is good for footjams because you can jam your foot in your fork and rest your foot on the front corner of the deck cause it sticks out.

Grit Elite Deck

Pros: Light
Comfortable
Nice Headtube Angle

Cons: Comes With Terrible Grip Tape
Brake Looks Kinda Weird
Back Wheel Rocks A Little At Full Tightening

My Overall Opinion: I like the deck personally. I have really enjoyed riding again since i got it. This is the first scooter stuff since i got back into the support and im surprised about how much better these decks are since i first heard about them. They feel strong and look good but i can't talk about strength yet since i haven't ridden it for long. If you get the complete i suggest switching the headset to a better one and definitively change the grip tape straight away.

Rate: 8/10

Terrible for footjams.

My Rating: 7/10

Pros:
  • Cheap ($100)
  • Light
  • Very Stable
  • Very nice wheels w/ pre-installed abec9 bearings
  • Flexfender pre-installed

Cons:
  • The grips it comes with, are terrible.
  • Griptape
  • ICS

Review:
This is a great scooter for the price, $100 is nice to ask for a scooter that has a threadless fork and ICS compression, It comes with bars that are 18w x 20h. The bars are very stable and they have strong gussets with very clean welds. The headtube is reinforced with a "+" type gusset that runs through the center of it. I especially liked that it came with a flexfender pre-installed. The wheels are great, once you ride for a while and the bearings break in it's a very smooth ride. The deck is fairly light and stable. The grips that It came with are terrible. They are super hard, and the will be nearly impossible to grip after your hands are sweaty, and they leave blisters. The griptape it comes with is decent, but not the best, but they did make it very easy to come off.

Final Score: 9/10

Thanks for reading guys, Enjoy.

Razor Ultra Pro:

Pro's:

Lightweight
Learn new tricks fast
One Piece Bars
One Piece Decks
Rubber Grips

Con's:
Grips Hurt hands after a while
Bars are bad dimentions
Back Wheel Breaks Pretty easily.
Brake Rattles, a bit
If you ride the 26/18 bars, they can crack at the slit
Still threaded.

Overall, its a great scooter. Razor made a great starting scooter for beginner/intermediate riders. The bar dimentions are terrible, maybe 21/18, and 23/20 for the next model? Also, go threadless, because the headset will be better, and the bars wont snap, because they wont become "threaded" because of being clamped, and are less likely of snapping at the threads. Personally, its a great scooter. I had it, and i had a few problems with the headset, and i completely demolished the back wheel (only because i broke it, and kept riding with it), and, from jumping 5,8, and 9 sets, and gaps, my bars started to crack. I went to my friends house, and cut them down to 23 high. they were fine after that. I went from learning 180 tailwhips, to 360 barspinning 5 sets with this scooter. It didnt break, but unfortunately, mine got stolen, and i am stuck with a stock old "A" for now. The ultra pro is a great scooter. Get One (unless you have a better one. Even then, just get one to fuck around).
