it's a little bit shorter than the sides but when they wear away the middle starts wearing. it might be a grind plate but i think it's more for added support so your deck doesnt bow like mine did
haha cant you see the dropouts in that picture ? they put extra aluminum edges aroudn the part that breaks..I havnt even came close to breaking mine yet and ive already had it 2 months of brutalizing it on all types of shit..

well because on a B model it scrapes down the edges on the dropouts..which makes the dropouts weaker and ready to break alot easier..well once the grinding goes down on the pro model thsoe edges are still their not grinding away and the dropouts dotn break...and plus the thing i nthe middle has helped my dropouts not scrape down as easy when I do grinds..so its all better in the end..
can any one tell me the exact length of a B rear axel, because Ive never used any thing than a new A and Im getting a pro and i need to know how long the bolts need to be to lock the mech. thanks
