I've never installed a headset before so it took a few tries for everything to line up, i wasnt expecting to have to hammer the FSA race onto the fork but it worked

the bearing race/bearing track. the little ring that the bearings slide on, its not too hard to adjust without the compression thing so i can take it apart and show you
