its not different for me, i cant spin small bars i cant catch them, so wider gives me more room to catch but less room to stand so it balances out

Same. I rode 20 wide, and I could 360 whip and decade like it was nothing, but barspins didnt work as good. So i went back down to 18, I cant 360 whip or decade as clean or easily anymore, but everything else feels great.
