hey alex dumb question, but what if he wrapped it in like.. 3 layers of aluminum foil/made a shim over the threads
it wouldn't be too tight but would it be better?

i have like 5 pairs of stocks .. (and 11 scooters) so i'd be set either way

My scooter (HORRIBLE PAINTJOB):

^ My scooter

^Skull ES metal core back with Bones Reds

^Skull ES metal core front with Bones reds and bolted folding mech.

^ Weird handlebars I got from a friend, with black animal grips, and ear muff things that go on headphones for comfort.

Also the deck is a Pro model deck, with MOB grip tape. And a stock double clamp for compression.
