rob how do u like the phoenix wheels compared to the sliders? and how would they stack up against grippers? cause i know u use to love them. just asking cause im looking to get new wheels in the near future.

Phoenix wheels are an all around great wheel. They have the best feel of ANY wheel on the market right now, hands down. A smooth and exceptionally fast ride. They have the softness of grippers, but the speed of Eagles. Which is a great combo.

Compared to my sliders they're same speed, but a bit softer, the sliders are like bricks compared to the phoenix wheels. I remember a lot of people liking eagle sewer caps, they should consider sliders to be the best wheel if they like hardness.

I have to say phoenix hit the nail on the head though. 85A is the same hardness of the best plastic core wheel out there: Am wing.

I didn't know they were plastic. They still seem soooo good, and I don't think pheonix would disappoint. I wonder what would be better, a full proto or full phoenix scooter.
