I don't know, I figured they would be just like Lucky wheels, at least the cores would be.
But holy crap lol.


Also Michael it used to be a ZG flexy, but they had a bad batch made from a far weaker material and I'm riding brakeless for now haha.
But they got that fixed.

Lucky wheels were hard to get bearings in. Socket + bolt = best way for me

To anyone who had trouble with bearings in VertX wheels: THIS IS WHY THEY GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO HAVE THEM PRE-INSTALLED. So you don't ruin packs of bearings on two wheels. Just order them off the site.

Well these wheels were by far the tightest fit ever.
And Ben... I used a vice. Lol, I'm thinking they're just not machined to the right precision.
I tried the nut and bolt one and the bearings literally exploded.

You have to put stuff like old bearings or washers between the new bearings and the nut and bolt. That spreads out the pressure onto the whole bearing, instead of putting it all on the middle part. Thats why they get screwed up if you dont use washers or something in between

I used a hammer, i broke 3 bearings, mailed my wheels to ecx and paid them $10 to do it for me
