haha dude dont bash until youve tried it. maybe 5 wide isnt for everybody, but i promise you, even a little bit wider helps with so much. i guess that Ben J put it best though, it depends on what terrain you like to ride and how you like to ride it.

A deck with a longer wheelbase is much more stable too.

Size 11.5 feet. I don't get it either. Mine fits me fine, apart from hitting the brake sometimes when I tailwhip, or dragging my toes and heels when I turn.
