No they're not? I hated mine. I snapped them in like a month too, both my smx's were way better.
Lol well unless you snapped the actual fork legs, the fork tube is exactly the same between all three of the forks so an SMX wouldn't be any different in that sense. And I do basically nothing but smiths so if the LinX was any worse for smiths than the SMX was, I wouldn't be riding it.
Actually now that I think about it, I do like the LinX better than the SMX for that reason. Pegs actually mount flush with the fork unlike the SMX where I had to use spacers, which made it so that I would grind on the fork instead of the peg on square ledges/rails. Actually grinding on the peg feels way better and more consistent, and I don't get hung up as much.
