dont post ever damn band you know, just hte ones that stand out and actually mean something,
for me;

The Clash - Such a good band, so many songs and they all sound so awesome. plus the bass lines are rad haha. just always one of their songs that suit my mood and get stuck in my head all day.

Sublime - always gets me in a good mood, just one fo those bands i can turn up and listen to for ages
Dead Kennedys - fuckinnggg ahhh listen to them for so long. dope sick bandd for sure.

The Descendants - awesome band. thats all

NOFX - listened to this band for ages and ages, i dont really like their newer stuff that much (with the acceptin of some songs), songs sound diffrent, just like their shit.

bob marley - always good chill music, no matter what.

steely dan - amazingly talented band, and super chill music

pearl jam - just a sick band, way underrated compared to nirvana (and way better), and their music is kickass all around

johnny winter - great blues player, his live stuff is the best to listen to.

the specials - edit: greg owned me But the specials are still a good band

zz top - fun to listen to for sure.

no doubt- cuz ive liked them since i was 11, and i dunno its one of meh favorite.

eyedea and abilities- because theyre fucking awesome.

daft punk- no matter how many times i listen to them im still happay about it.

NY HOWL- i honestly have no idea why. just cuz.

oh and nelly furtado fist album, i dunno what happened she was so cool, she wrote all her songs and she plays a billion instruments, and now she sings this awful shit. same for gwen stefani

the specials - full on PROPER ska, from the 70's when it started pretty much. They're on a way different level than all these shit excuses for ska bands you have today

zz top - fun to listen to for sure.

Ehh.... You're wrong on a few levels about that:

1) Ska started in Jamaica in the Late 50s - Early 60s.
2) Specials weren't a "proper"/traditional ska band, they were part of the 2nd wave of ska.
3) The Specials are good, but they sound like every other 2nd wave/English ska band.
4) Alot of the ska bands today have a sh!tload of talent.

My favorite band of all time is Blink 182. I've liked them for as long as I can remember. I can listen to their songs and they never get old to me. I'm not sure how much longer I can like them without getting totally annoyed of them, but I still like them a lot. I also like all their other bands, like Box Car Racer, +44, and Angels and Airwaves. Angels and Airwaves is the band that I like the least, but they still have some good songs.

I also like Silverstein, because that was the band that started getting me into screamo music and more hardcore kinds of music. I just loved how he would have some awesome screams, but also a really good voice.

5. against me! - because i fell in new wave and went back and re-listened to all their stuff that i downloaded years ago and realized how good it is

6. brand new - because its teenage angst turned into self conflict genius

The Beatles - Played lots of different kinds of music. Alot of inspirational stuff.

Iron Maiden - Heavy faster music. They sound real good too.

Wolfmother - Like a new age metal type music.

Lil Wayne - Crazy rapping abilities. Music has good beats.

i fucking hate wolfmother, theyre like a knock off zepplin sabbeth combo.

i liked sean's last.fm idea.

1. Modest Mouse - such good music, and so much music.

2. Circa Survive - probably my favorite band, anthony green is a god and every circa song is amazing.

3. Placebo - good band with solid stuff, lots of their stuff is good.

4. Explosions in the Sky - such good music, so good for chilling and some is good for getting pumped, absolutely love the band.

5. Clint Mansell - composed the score for requiem for a dream, pi, the fountain, and others, suchhhh good stuff, love this guys work.

6. Portugal. The Man - such a unique band, amazing stuff.

7. Emarosa - favorite band at the moment and has been for a bit, listen to them so damn much.
