They're tricky when you're used to tailwhips. You have to try to force yourself to push the deck towards your toes and immediately try to force the deck around with your wrists (just like when learning tailwhips). Once you land it, it gets easier to do it again.
I managed to land it after a few hours, but it was still tough to get used to it. Biggest thing for me was, again, forcing myself to try to replicate the tailwhip motion, just in the opposite direction.
