those bracelets that you were talking about, are those the ones that are sold in zumiez and have like a bold,italic font on them? because when i saw those i thought it was so perverted. and i was really hoping my mom didnt see them when i was getting new shoes at zumies. but if they were for the breast cnacer cause then i would be ok with it. and also this event or cause could have like bikers(mountain bikes too), skaters, and scooters that way it would get more participators and popularity.

Make some t-shirts (eg: scoot 4 LIFE) and sell them.
Just huge seshes at different skateparks so one skatepark doesn't get cluttered.
Get some sponsers (madd gear, inside, madd gear USA and tons more).
Get all websites to post times, dates and spots (skateparks, maybe even a street spot) for the seshes, like gold coin donation to ride there on the day, get some tents (madd gear tents exp.) sell shirts for 10$-15$-20$, im totally up for this.

yea jordan thats what im thinking. the reason i say only scooter riders is because it can create a HUGE notie of scootering as well as us supporting colon cancer. its a win win situation you guys understand? i mean if your all down for this ill schedual it the day before SD5, so we can all just have a fun great sesh. i guess just sell stuff that goes straight to the colon cancer fund commity thing.

Dustin, I LOVE this idea! Let’s think big. SCOOT for CANCER across America (all cancer) Lavender is the color for all kinds of cancer or you could stay with brown that represents Colon cancer specifically.

Have scooter riders that want to participate wear a certain color and ride that day for cancer(s). They can have people sponsor them for 5, 10 cents + for the hours that they ride. You can choose designated spots and riders in different cities across America can join in the cause. Just brainstorming here, this would be so AWESMOE FOR THE SPORT and you would definitely get news coverage for the sport and help a worthy cause. EVERYBODY WINS, Can I help? ;-) Everyone is affected by cancer.

I like your idea Mrs. Funk! I mean I wanna provde shirts and all but theres no way I have enough money for that. I mean we can all bring our own shirts, or ALl where the lavender color shirts. I think thatd be a good idea, lavender. I just gotta figure out a route to where we can all do this. I mean yea we could get it going at every state or country that wants to pertisipate at the same time. thatd be soo legit.

and guys when this happens no matter who it is or what they do, no drama. Its all to support a great cause. I think petty scooter drama on this day would be sooo unacceptable.

Maybe if me and some aussies (mgp team?) get in touch with mgp we can get a tent at a skatepark, a shop (bracelets, parts, mgp tee's.) with all proceeds going to a cancer charity (wich could also sponsor the event).
The mgp team could shoot a demo, so there would be a huge turnout, hold it at a huge skatepark (riverside, boxhill, camberwell, rampfest?) get some local shops (skaterHQ, bayside blades) to sponsor/help out and ride (if they have sponsors).
We could do it all over Australia (like a tour) and the same could go for America.

well this is legit to help others and get our sport noticed for helpin out people. my grandpa has lung cancer but survived 3 surgeries and my great uncle actually died of colon cancer so this would help alot of people who need help
