ok soo i have been thinking... when people bolt their headtube on their lucky deck it sometimes dosent hold soo im guessing a good way to get it to hold is if you cut a slit in the head tube and it will pinch the headtube to the deck when you tighten the bolts... therefore it will work like a clamp

please tell me wat you think of this idea

It's worth a try. But only cut the slit tall enough for the headtube mount. If you go and higher, you run the risk of having sideways flex and possible bending.

TRY IT!

The good thing is that you can just use a head tube and that you don't have to rist damaging your deck.

I love hearing stuff like this. But will it be such a big deal? Yea its another way, but is it needed? Ask yourself that...

well it depends its more of a solution then a new way to bolt it i mean if the headtube moves normally bolted then clamping it will work better
