no, but i would. i brought a terrible scooter out here and broke it on the second skatepark trip i took. the nice weather got through to me and i just sold a kidney to build a solid scooter. i'll ride anything, Boomer's, the freakish Mormon church/monument to outer space on the I-5, Chuck E. Cheese, etc. i saw a public skatepark in sorrento valley area next to a police station the other day, looked pretty nice. the time that i went to mission valley ymca i tried to interest the local talent in riding street but it was mostly pretty young kids that seemed to live at the skatepark all summer, didn't care a bit about non-park riding.
